Student Code of Conduct
Nationwide Academy is a respectful and inclusive learning community. This code of conduct sets out expectations for how you should behave as a student. By enrolling with us, you agree to follow this code.
Respectful Behaviour
Treat everyone with respect and courtesy, including:
Other students in your class or online group
Trainers and teaching staff
Administrative and support staff
Respectful behaviour means:
Listening without interrupting
Using polite and appropriate language
Being punctual and prepared for sessions
Helping create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone
Academic Integrity
Academic integrity is essential. This means:
Do your own work: All assignments and assessments must be your original work
No plagiarism: Don’t copy text, ideas, or work from others without proper acknowledgment
No cheating: Don’t share assessment answers with other students or use unauthorised materials during assessments
Cite your sources: If you use other people’s ideas or information, acknowledge where it came from
Attendance and Participation
To succeed in your course, you’re expected to:
Attend all classes, both face-to-face and Microsoft Teams live sessions
Actively participate in Moodle activities and online discussions
Complete assignments and assessments by the due dates
Communicate with your trainer if you’re having difficulties or can’t attend
Proper Use of Learning Platforms
Use Moodle only for study-related activities
Don’t download or share materials outside the course without permission
Keep your login details private
Don’t access other students’ accounts
Join sessions on time and be ready to participate
Keep your camera and microphone settings appropriate unless instructed otherwise
Don’t record sessions without permission from your trainer
Don’t share meeting links or recordings with people outside the course
Use Teams for course-related communication only
No Harassment, Bullying, or Discrimination
Harassment, bullying, or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated. This includes:
Threatening or abusive language
Intimidation or aggressive behaviour
Discrimination based on age, disability, race, sex, gender identity, or any other grounds
Sexual harassment or unwanted advances
Cyberbullying or online harassment
Consequences for Misconduct
If you breach this code of conduct, we may take the following action:
You’ll be given the opportunity to explain your actions before any disciplinary decision is made.

If you witness or experience a breach of this code of conduct, you can report it confidentially:
